Terms and Conditions (revised 1/2023)
To confirm a reservation, a valid credit card is required to be added to the clients profile at the time of booking. All credit card details are stored securely via our online portal. Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking, not on the day of travel unless prior arrangements were made at the time of booking.
We cannot accept any reservation that doesn’t have the passengers cell phone or arriving flight details (airline and flight no). Flights run early and late and our dispatch team needs to be able to contact you – to ensure that you have a vehicle waiting at all times.
By providing your cell phone number during the reservation process, you agree to allow Eight Black to call and/or text information regarding your reservation details.
Gratuity & Billing
Drop off/pick up fees of $5-15 will be added to all airport reservations. A general booking fee of $5-$25 will be added to ALL reservations depending on the type of vehicle reserved.
Tolls and parking fees will be added to every trip, where applicable. Toll charges will be charged for each one-way trip. Any other tolls incurred will be charged on a per use, per trip basis.
All bookings which require a pick up between the hours of 12:01am and 3:59am will incur a $100 charge. Bookings between 10:00pm – 12:00am and 4:00am-5:59am will incur a $50 charge. Delays that cause the reservation to enter an off-peak window pick-up as listed above will incur the additional fee which will be charged at the conclusion of the trip.
Overtime/wait time rates will apply following a fifteen (15) minute grace period based on the pick-up time noted in the reservation. Overtime rates will apply for airport pickups after 45 mins (Domestic arrival) and 60 mins (International Arrival) and times are calculated based on when the flight arrives at the gate. Overtime/wait time charge is $2 per minute in a sedan, $3 per minute in an SUV and $4 per minute in a Sprinter.
All hourly reservations are billed garage-to-garage. All hourly reservations are billed for the total number of hours reserved by the customer, even if the actual time used is less than the reserved number of hours.
Peak and/or Holiday fees/surcharges may apply. Meet & Greet services will be charged at a minimum of $100. Additional charges apply for a dedicated greeter. Extra stops will be charged at a minimum of $30 per stop.
We understand that your plans may change. We will try and accommodate your change request as best we can. Certain markets, specialty vehicles, and all special events will have varying and unique cancellation policies. You must clarify with your Sales Agent regarding the specific cancellation policy for your reservation or event.
Same Day Cancellations
Same Day Cancellations under 2 hours notice are subject to a full charge. No shows are not eligible for trip credit.
Sedans, SUVs & Sprinters: For a full refund, you have 24 hours to cancel from the time of booking. Any cancellations up until 2 hours prior to reservation time will become a trip credit for future use.
Mini-Coaches, Bus, Large & Speciality Vehicles:
All of these reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation and full payment is due 14-days prior to the event. Non-refundable cancellation within 14 days of the reservation.
Alcohol is permitted in any of our livery-plated vehicles. Law prohibits minors (under 21 years of age) to possess or consume alcohol or drugs in any of our vehicles. If a passenger is found to possess said above, the trip will be terminated and law enforcement officials will be contacted immediately. The driver has the right to terminate the trip without refund (if there is blatant indiscretion on the part of the client(s)). Drivers have the right to request identification for age verification if alcohol is possessed by client(s).
Smoking, Vaping, and or Drug Use is strictly prohibited in any of our Vehicles. A minimum of a $500 fee will apply for violations of this policy.
Minimum Sanitation/Detail fee of $500 will be applied to vehicles for any cleaning that is beyond the standard cleaning vehicles require.
Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond legal seating capacity at any time.
Eight Black does have a limited supply of car seats or booster seats that can be requested at the time of booking. In the event that a passenger brings their own, a responsible adult accompanying the child(ren) is responsible for the installation and use of the seat.
Lost and Found
Eight Black is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen baggage, or for any items left in the vehicle at the end of your service. It is your responsibility to collect your baggage and personal items at the end of your trip. Customers may contact email@example.com to report missing items.
We are pet friendly. All pets must be transported in an approved animal carrier/crate. Animals will not be permitted to ride in the cabin unsecured with the exception of Service Animals protected by ADA and may directly accompany their handler as per law.. Cleaning fees will apply for any mess caused by your pet (e.g. excessive pet hair, urine, or feces). You must let reservations know if you intend to travel with a pet.
In the event of unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances such as traffic and/or weather, mechanical breakdown, or operational issues, an interruption in service with delays may occur. In such a case, Eight Black will make all attempts to provide alternative transportation. Eight Black is not liable for any fees for missed flights, or as a result of missed flights and cannot provide alternate transportation suggestions.
